Fundraiser to Benefit OATS Transit

OATS Transit, a Missouri based not-for-profit transportation provider, is pleased to announce a new Spring fundraiser now underway – Explore Kansas City. To raise funds, OATS Transit has organized a raffle to benefit its statewide transportation program.

You will receive ten tickets with a $10 donation – but the more you donate, the more tickets you get. First prize includes a one-night stay at Drury Hotels, plus tickets to the KC Royals, Union Station Science City & The Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium, KC Zoo, and WWI Museum, dinner at Gates Bar-B-Q and an autographed KC Chiefs Tony Gonzalez limited edition print.

Tickets are on sale now through Sunday, April 21. You can buy tickets online at: oatstransit.rallyup.com/buyabus. Tickets are only available online; drawing will be held on April 22.

As well as the possibility of winning an amazing prize, you’ll be helping thousands of Missourians who rely on OATS Transit to get where they need to go. Since 1971, the company has provided transportation for people with disabilities, seniors and the rural general public. Annually, more than 1.5 million trips are provided statewide to those in need. Work transportation makes up 45% of the service, followed by medical, shopping, senior center service and other needs. OATS Transit is a shared ride, door-to-door transportation program in 87 Missouri counties that allows people to live independently. Statewide, the agency contracts with more than 200 agencies, businesses and cities to provide their transportation services.
