Have you ever wondered why some predators generally only hunt during the day while others prefer to hunt at night? Do you know what adaptations are necessary for being one of the top nighttime predators? Discover these answers and much more during this night hike as park naturalists and guests go on the prowl for owls at Ha Ha Tonka State Park.
Participants will learn who’s who in the world of owls and the features that make them fierce nighttime predators. The hike begins at 8:45 p.m. Friday, June 17. Following the hike, attempts will be made to call in an owl.
