Junior Firefighter event this Saturday

On Saturday, Oct. 9, from 11 a.m.  – 1p.m. the El Dorado Springs Volunteer Fire Department will have their 3rd annual Junior Firefighter Event on the ShopKo parking lot.

Among the usual fire trucks and games, we welcome the Cedar County Sheriff’s Department, Cedar County Ambulance, Cedar County Memorial Hospital, Mercy Clinic and Citizens Memorial Hospital Clinic. We also have added three bounce houses this year.

We have 295 junior firefighters signed up for the event. They will receive a Tee shirt, hot dog, chips, cookie and a bottle of water.
