“The Train Guy,” Mike Offineer, will discuss historical aspects of railroading and share railroad photographs and artifacts like old lanterns, timetables and how to tie hoop orders.
Following 41 years, Mike retired as a MK&T and then a Union Pacific locomotive engineer. Rick Kraus will be present with two tracks of model railroads.
Displays open at 1 p.m. Event is from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at the historic 1870 MKT Depot on Hwy. 52, Appleton City.
