The University of Missouri Extension in Vernon County is offering a six session “Building Strong and Stable Families” beginning July 11 at 209 W Walnut St, Nevada, MO 64772 at 6:30 p.m.

Parenting is tough. Come learn some tips of the trade from this FREE class. We’ll be using both the Strong Parents, Stable Children: Building Protective Factors to Strengthen Families and the Building Strong Families; two programs created by the University of Missouri Extension. Topics will include: family strengths, outside support networks, communication skills, child development concepts, emotion coaching and positive discipline.

Classes will be held on Thursdays, July 11 through Aug. 5.  Sessions will be held at 209 W Walnut St. Nevada, MO 64772 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
