Due to the Governor Parson’s Executive Order 20-03 concerning Coronavirus and COVID-19, the last day to request an absentee ballot to be mailed for the April 7, 2020 General Municipal Election has been postponed to Wednesday, May 20, 2020.  Voters may cast their absentee ballots in person in the office of the Cedar County Clerk, Heather York, until 5:00 p.m. the day before the election, now postponed to June 2, 2020.

Absentee ballots returned by mail or in person must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, June 2, 2020.  The April 7, 2020 ballots remain in effect, if you’ve already voted, your vote stands and will be counted on June 2nd.  For your convenience, the Cedar County Clerk’s office will be open on Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
