New winter hours at Dickerson Park Zoo

Winter brings colder temperatures and new hours to Dickerson Park Zoo, but the zoo is open year-round, only closing for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day (and if the paths are covered with ice or snow.)

That’s 362 fabZOOlous days to get outside with your friends and family.

Nov. 1, DPZ moves to NEW winter hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The new 9 a.m. opening is to accommodate the many school groups coming to see, connect and learn about protecting wildlife and wild places.

Dec. 1, hours will change to 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
