Class details:
6 p.m. Thursday, April 13: Blooms and Blossoms at the Lodge Kitchen – Spring wildflowers and trees are in bloom and are looking beautiful. But did you know that in addition to looking pretty, most of these flowers are edible and can even be used to make jelly? Let’s make a hug salad for supper straight from the front yard and use some of those pretty flowers to make some tasty cookies for dessert.
6 p.m. Thursday, July 13: Kayaking on the Lower Lake – Plan on getting wet and having some fun in this class. We’ll learn kayaking basics and some Current River State Park history while paddling around the lower lake and hopefully seeing some wildlife. Bring a snack and a life jacket if you have one. Life jackets will be provided for those who don’t have one. This class is limited to 10 participants.
6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10: Wild Spa Night at the Lodge – Ladies, treat yourself to a “Wild Spa Night.” Learn how to make a variety of teas that are tasty and can be easily made from plants found in the wild. You’ll also get to make your own facial and body scrubs.
