Anna Dorsey

Anna Margaret Dorsey, 92, passed away on Aug. 29, 2016, in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Kansas City.  She was born on Oct. 10, 1923, in Kilborne, IA, to John and Iley (Burns) Schleeter.

She was a former resident of El Dorado Springs for over 50 years.

Anna was preceded in death by two sisters at birth; and brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Garnett Schleeter and Byrnes and Flornell Schleeter.

She is survived by her daughter, Ramona Dorsey-Wade; son, Bruce Ethridge Dorsey (Linda); sisters-in-law, Geraldine Dorsey and Eva Marguerite Smith; grandson, Brian Dorsey (Sarah); great-granddaughters – Autumn, Hannah, Nicole and Faith; several step  grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren and her friend, Wayne Cowan.

An open house visitation was held on Sunday, Sept. 4, in the home of Ramona Dorsey-Wade and Wayne Cowan, 2936 Mercier Kansas City, MO 64108. Donations may be given to St. Luke’s Hospice.
