Beverly Jean Spencer, 85, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020, at Lake Stockton Health Care Facility. She was born Feb. 24, 1935, in South Bend, IN, to William and Edna Spencer, the youngest of six children.

Beverly lived in South Bend all of her childhood and her young adult life. She moved to Missouri in 1971.

She worked hard and enjoyed life. She loved to dance and travel, which she did a lot of when she retired. She also loved to tell jokes, laugh and make people laugh; she just loved to have fun. She was always young at heart.

Beverly will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edna Spencer; two sons, Dennis Wainscott and Leonard Wainscott; and five siblings.

Survivors include four children – Ralph Rose, Richard Ewald, Tena Higbie and Mark Wainscott; 11 grandchildren – Chad Hale, Kristena Bailey, Shawna Hale, Tommy Higbie, Roland Wainscott, Karyna Wainscott, Lenny Wainscott, Brittany Wainscott, Bethany Wainscott, Daniel Wainscott and Dylan Wainscott; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

No memorial service is scheduled. Disposition was by inurnment under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
