On Saturday, July 13, 2024, Bill Clevenger, 84, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his lifetime sweetheart, Violet Clevenger and their family. Bill was born May 1940.

Bill spent 12 years in the Army. Then was a computer programmer and finally a preacher.

Serving God and teaching His word was his heart and soul. He loves the Lord and served Him daily in his life. He was an example of God’s love with every breath. His kindness and honesty was only shadowed by his compassion and love.

Bill lived Psalms 71:18 “Now also when I am old and grey headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shown thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to everyone that is to come.”

Preceding Bill in death were his parents, Howard and Ruth and three sisters.

His is survived by his brother, Darrell and his sister, Beverly. He is also survived by his wife; two daughter, Michelle and Karen; one son, David; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Bill was a testimony to all just by being who he was. He took the gospel to prisons, churches and lived it to his family.

He was adored by all his children and grandchildren and will be missed on this earth.

Sing loud and strong, Bill, all you need is a joyful noise.

Services for Bill were 11 a.m. Monday, July 22, at First Baptist Church, El Dorado Springs.
