Bobby Lynn Beaty

Bobby Lynn Beaty, 80, El Dorado Springs, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021. He was born March 14, 1941, in Cedar County, the son of Joe and Goldie (Allen) Beaty. Bob grew up on the family farm and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School.

In 1959, he was married to Belva Caldwell until her death in 1993, and to this union three children were born: Donnie, Sandy and Kathy. In 1997, Bob married Linda Warren.

Bob spent his life doing heavy equipment work in the surrounding area and truly loved what he did. He also raised cattle and enjoyed working outside. He was extremely dedicated to his work and his family, and he never met a stranger.

Preceding Bob in death were his wife Belva, his parents Joe & Goldie, his brother Bill Beaty and sister Betty (Beaty) Morlan.

Survivors include his wife Linda of the home; children, Don Beaty and wife Brenda, Sandy Simrell and husband, Bill, Kathy Schwalm and husband, Randy; step-children, Jeff Hughes, and wife, Debbie, Lisa Azevedo, and husband, Dan; grandchildren; step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Lee Beaty; sisters, Judy Brackenridge and Jerry Bobbett and numerous extended family members.

Services were Wednesday, April 14, at El Dorado Springs City Cemetery with interment in the Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the El Dorado Springs High School football program and left at the funeral home.
