Beloved Mother, Nana, and friend Carolyn Denise Loane, 48, passed away on July 23, 2024. She was born on September 14, 1975, in El Dorado Springs, Mo, to Emory and Iva Barker. Carolyn graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1993. She was employed at Southwest Community Service and worked as a support care assistant.
Carolyn enjoyed animals, 80’s music and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved being Nana and her grandchildren were her whole world. She will be remembered for her strong will, loving nature, and her stubbornness.
She is survived by her brother, Doyle (Shannon) Barker; children, Colton (Shelby) Loane and Shelbie (Nathaniel) Loane; grandchildren: Emory Loane, River Loane, Harper Woolsey, and Noah Woolsey; and many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emory Barker and Iva Drake; brother, Donald “Buck” Barker; and grandparents, Lester and Ted Barker and Willie and Iva Shaner.
Services for Carolyn Loane were held Saturday, July 27, at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. Brent Bland was the minister. The pallbearers were Colton Loane, Nathanial Woolsey, Brandon Barker, Nick Barker, Ronnie Barker, Eric Tabor and Steve Boswell. She was laid to rest in El Dorado Springs City Cemetery.
