Dana Phipps Jamison, 73, passed away Feb. 10, 2022 at her home in Garland, TX, peacefully with her family at her side.

Dana was born to George and Mildred Phipps in Butler, Nov. 7, 1948. She graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1966, and attended college at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She then moved to Dallas, TX, where she met and married Randall Jamison on March 25, 1972. In July 1976, Dana and Randall welcomed their son, Scott, into the world.

Dana was a beautiful, caring and gracious person with many friends, but her focus was always on her family. She loved traveling with her husband, raising her son, and caring for her parents in their Missouri home throughout their twilight years. She enjoyed a very close bond and relationship with her sister, Beverly Prue.

Professionally, Dana was an accomplished executive assistant having worked with several senior executives in various industries including Real Estate, Telecommunications and Retail.

Dana is survived by her husband, Randall Jamison; son, Scott Jamison, and daughter-in-law, Laura Marshall Jamison; grandchildren, Mia Jamison and Chase Jamison; grandson, Cody Marshall, and niece, Marceline Edwards.

Dana is preceded in death by her father, George Phipps; mother, Mildred Phipps; sister, Beverly Prue, and brother-in-law, Joseph Prue, nephew, Mark Williams, as well as daughter-in-law, Michele Jamison.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. in Mound Cemetery at Filley MO.
