Daniel Jay Carver, 71, passed away on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at his home in Nevada. Daniel was born March 3, 1951 in El Dorado Springs to Marshall C. and Helen I. (Curtis) Carver.

Daniel was raised in Oregon and later El Dorado Springs, graduating from El Dorado Springs High School. Following high school Daniel went into the United States Navy and served his country for six years while stationed in San Diego. Dan spent most of his working life as a Field Service Engineer, installing and servicing Medical X-Ray equipment. Dan retired in 2014 and has resided the past four years in Nevada. He loved reading, playing the guitar and camping.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Olvera – Spring Hill, KS, and Alisha Carver – Houston, TX; one son, Michael Carver – Springs Hill, KS; three grandchildren, Danny Olvera, Yesi Olvera and Elisa Olvera; four brothers, Randy Carver (Cindy) – Texas, Ray Carver (Debbie) – Wichita, KS, Rusty Carver (Judy) – El Dorado Springs, and Terry Carver – Grand Junction, CO; a sister, Cheryl Hargrave (Bruce) – Seattle, WA; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Tara Carver.
