DJ (Darin Earl Lumley Jr.), 13, passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2021, in El Dorado Springs.

DJ was born May 8, 2007, in El Dorado Springs to Darin Earl Lumley, Sr. and Becky Wade.

DJ began his schooling by completing kindergarten in El Dorado Springs and continued his education from 1st to 5th grade in Marshall. He then returned to El Dorado Springs and completed grades 6th to 8th at El Dorado Springs Junior High. He attended Herriman Chapel.

DJ enjoyed spending time together with his dad, working on his 1996 Dodge Ram 4X4. He enjoyed gaming, music, eating Takis and pizza and spending lots of time with friends and family.

DJ was well known for being a prankster. He loved bringing smiles and laughter to those closest to him with prank calls and masks pranks. He was well loved for many things, including his intelligence and sense of humor.

DJ is survived by his father and stepmother, Darin Earl Lumley, Sr. and Charity, of the home; mother, Becky Wade of Marshall; grandparents, Jeannie and Delbert Bays, Sr. of Marshall; two sisters, Kamber Grishow of Appleton City, and Mikayla Hoke of Georgia; two brothers, Wesley and Thomas Wade, both of Marshall; aunt and uncles, Terri Jadlot of El Dorado Springs, Jason Lumley (Miranda) of El Dorado Springs, Doug Berten of El Dorado Springs, Keith Bays (Helen) of Marshall, Delbert Bays, Jr. (Leah) of Marshall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and a nephew as well as numerous cousins who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert (Bob) LeRoy Lumley, Linda West Lumley, Patrick Wayne Larkie; aunt, Deena Johnson, and his aunt, Karen Lumley Berten.

Services were held Monday, May 3, at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs, with Brent Bland officiating. Interment followed in Clintonville Cemetery in El Dorado Springs.
