Doyle Dwight White, 85, El Dorado Springs, peacefully passed away in his home on Sept. 10, 2023, after a five year battle with blood cancer.

Born on Jan. 1, 1938, Doyle exemplified the virtues of humility, gratitude and respect. He was a man of unwavering faith, finding solace and strength in his religious beliefs. His devotion to his family and friends was a testament to his deep-rooted values.

Doyle began his educational journey at Oak Grove Primary School where he began going steady with neighboring farm girl, Mary Darlene Marshall at the age of 11, later marrying his childhood sweetheart on Christmas Eve, 1957. Doyle dedicated several years of his life in service to his country as a member of the Army & National Guard. Later, finding fulfillment in his professional endeavors, serving as a Shoe Factory Foreman and long-time area Truck Driver.

A devout Christian, Doyle worshiped at Virgil City Union Church, where he taught adult Bible classes for many years. Upon its closing, he then attended services in various other community churches in the area. His faith was a guiding light in his life, providing him with comfort and strength during both joyful and challenging times.

In his spare time, Doyle found joy in tending to his farm and honing his skills as a tool sharpener. These simple pleasures brought him a sense of contentment and peace.

Doyle was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Darlene White, as well as his sons, Steven and Mark, and his daughter, Shelley and father, Nelson White, mother, Myrl, and brother, Dale White. Their memories continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved them.

Doyle is survived by his daughter, Kristi Toliver, husband, Darren, grandson Morgan, his spouse, Brittany, and great-grandson, Conlin, as well as, granddaughters, Libby Toliver, Mya, and Thomara White-Briscoe; daughter Kasey Sindel, husband, Steve, and granddaughter, Darby. In addition, Doyle is survived by his daughter-in-law, Kristina White, his granddaughter, Cass and spouse, Tara, grandson, Chase, spouse, Ally, and two great-granddaughters, Ollie and Lena, as well as brother(s), Larry White, and wife, Judy, Terry White, and wife, Bonnie, Duane White and wife, Genevieve, and long-time friend and companion, Laurel Corlett.

Services for Doyle White were held Thursday, Sept. 14. Jerrell Fischer and Brent Bland Spoke. His final resting place is Virgil City Cemetery.
