Ella Mae (Chilton) Palmer

Ella Mae (Chilton) Palmer passed away Aug. 21, 2022. Ella was born to John and Carrie (Hanna) Chilton on June 11, 1934, in Argonia, KS. She attended Roscoe Elementary School and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1952.
On Dec. 28, 1953, she married Lawrence Richard Palmer. To this union were born one son, John Phillip, and one daughter, Cynthia Marie.
Ella worked for the International Shoe Company, Dunbrooke Sporting Goods, Matco, and Places. Ella was an active member of the First Baptist Church, El Dorado Springs Craft Club, and walking club.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Lawrence, and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia McKinney, and husband, Les of Marshall; son, John Phillip Palmer – El Dorado Springs; brother, Ray Chilton; sister, Faye Fowler; two grandsons, and five great-grandsons.
Service for Ella Palmer was Friday, Aug. 26, at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. Visitation was Friday, Aug. 26.
