Eugene Williams, 44, passed away on Oc. 29, 2020, at his home.  He was born March 1, 1976, in Borger, TX, to Terry Eugene and Carol Elaine (Cooke) Williams.

Eugene was a 1996 graduate of Yarbrough High School, Goodwell, OK, and a 2006 graduate of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL. He served in the United States Navy from June 1998 to February 2007.  Eugene was employed by Helix HP1 as an electronics technician officer.  He was a member of the National Rifle Association, and enjoyed shooting and reloading ammunition.  Eugene loved riding his motorcycle, tinkering in his shop on the metal lathe, working on the computer, playing guitar, and loving his ‘fur babies’.  He was an intelligent and kind-hearted individual, who was always seeking to increase his knowledge–to learn about anything and everything.

On Sept. 25, 2010, Eugene married Mindy Renee Gardner, in Ulysses, KS.

He is survived by:  his wife, Mindy Williams of Hutchinson, KS; father, Terry Williams and wife, Tammy of El Dorado Springs; aunt, Tammie Crafton of Fritch, TX; and cousin, Matt Crafton of Stinnett, TX.

Eugene was preceded in death by his mother, Carol E. Williams, and an uncle, Mike Crafton.

Cremation has taken place.  Private memorial service will be Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Andy Addis officiating.  A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a future date.  Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, through Thursday, Nov 12, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
