Harold Hamlin Moore Jr., 69, El Dorado Springs, passed away Feb. 3, 2017, in Marshfield.

Harold was born Jan. 3, 1948, in Springfield, the son of Harold Sr. and Marcella (DeCamp) Moore, the oldest of three children. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1966. After high school he attended Southwest Missouri State College where he met Debbie Macom. He and Debbie married Nov. 25, 1971. The young couple moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL, where Harold found work for the phone company. The job moved them to Clarksdale, MS, where they lived until 1978, at which time they moved to El Dorado Springs to raise a family. Harold continued his work with the phone company until he retired in 2010.

He and Debbie had a successful Amway business for many years, where they met many great friends and traveled all over the United States. Harold and Debbie enjoyed sailing and anything involving the beach. They took several vacations to Florida after his retirement.

Harold also enjoyed hunting, visiting friends and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Harold greeted everyone with a smile and a hug. He will be missed dearly by all those who had the pleasure of meeting him.

Preceding Harold in death were his wife, Debbie; his parents; and his brother, Matthew.

Harold is survived by his son, Jabe Moore, and wife, Nikki; daughter, Nicole Addison, and husband, Joey; sister, Rebecca Neff, and husband Charles; granddaughters – Pheobe Addison and  Jewel,  Evey and Arian Moore; and many loving nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.

A visitation for Harold will begin at 10 a.m. in Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home in El Dorado Springs on Thursday, Feb. 9. A graveside service will begin at 3 p.m. that day in Maple Park Cemetery in Springfield and a Celebration of Life at the home of his son in Marshfield following the graveside service. Arrangements are under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jabe Moore, Joey Addison, Ken Egnor, Mike Winfrey, Greg Raper and Mickey Durbin.
