James A. Davis, 92, of rural El Dorado Springs, passed away at his home Saturday morning, July 9, 2016. He was born Oct. 26, 1923, in Ferris, IL, the son Fayette Henry and Corrine (Cuerdon) Davis.
Jim was married to Patricia Davis and loved her deeply. He worked as a real estate appraiser. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, going to auctions and garage sales and golfing.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia, of the home; two daughters, Patricia S. Davis, of Glendale, AZ, and LaVonne Davis, of San Diego, CA; one grandson; three step-children; five step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and his best friend, Max Carver.
No services for Jim are scheduled at this time. Disposition was by inurnment under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
