James Roy Beckman, 43, of El Dorado Springs, passed away Sept. 16, 2020. Jim was born Oct. 2, 1976, in El Dorado Springs, to Brent and Barbara Beckman. Following graduation, Jim enlisted in the United States Army, where he served first with the 2nd Armored Division and was later assigned to the 4th Infantry Division as a Mechanized Infantryman. Upon his discharge, he returned to the family home near Dederick.

Jim worked for several years at 3M in Nevada before returning to work at Allison’s. He had recently started working at UPS.
