Janolyn Faye Taylor, 61, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, Feb 18, 2025. Jan was the daughter of Paul and Edna Jo Green, and grew up in El Dorado Springs, where she graduated with the class of 1981.

Jan grew up on their family farm and helped with many tasks, the most memorable of hers being milking the cows and tending to the garden. After school she then went to work at Foam Fabricators, where she worked for 39 years.

Jan was united in marriage to Dave Taylor on May 9, 1992, where she also gained Hank and Mandi. To their union, they welcomed Derrick and Steven.

Some of her favorite things included cooking new recipes, the annual family camping trip, competitive family games of volleyball, fishing at their pond and playing Uno at every Christmas get together. She took great pride in her roles as Mom, wife and Grandma, and had no greater joy than family.

Jan was a life-long follower of Christ and was baptized on Oct. 23, 2022, at Union Hall Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. Her faith was on full display throughout her life, and she leaves an exemplary testimony.

Preceding her in death was her father, Paul Green.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Taylor; her children: Hank (Krista) Taylor, Mandi (Curt) Jensen, Derrick (Rachael) Taylor, and Steven (Kylie) Taylor; mother Edna Jo Green; sister Paula (Bill) Connors; and Grandkids: Aidan, Connor, Lyndee, Whitley, Shelby, Taylor, Alexis, Eli, Caty and Ethan; great-grandkids, Zane, Isiah, Olivia, Maylee, and Miles.

Services for Jan were held on Saturday, February 22, at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. Woody Wilson was the minister. She was laid to rest in El Dorado Springs City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jan Taylor Youth Fund in care of Union Hall Baptist Church. Online condolences may be left at www.blandhackleman.com.
