John Lynn Culler, 67, was born on Feb. 9, 1952, in Nevada to William B. and Marie Francis (Leer) Culler. He passed away on June 27, 2019 in Nevada.

John was a lifelong area resident. He was a United States Army veteran. He worked as a mechanic which he loved and several other jobs.

John loved to tell jokes and always made those around him laugh.

He is survived by seven children – Christi (Gary) Fenton of Nevada; Angela Scalia (husband) of Joplin, Jessica Bawmgarden of Deepwater ; John Culler Jr (Tabitha) of Oklahoma; Jason Culler (wife) of Oklahoma; Justin Culler of Pleasanton, KS; and Rick Culler of Nevada. He is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Jane Hicks, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He loved spending time with his grandson, Timothy. They did mechanic work or just spent time on the farm.

John was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two wives, Pamela and Deanna.

Services were held Tuesday, July 2, in Sheldon Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs, with Rev. Steve West officiating.

Music was “Forever And Ever, Amen, ” “Neon Moon” and  “Daddy’s Hands.”

Casketbearers were Doug Starbuck, Bryan Latta, Timothy Ross, Floyd Bennett, Jeremy Ratliff  and Don Hutchison.

Interment was in El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under direction of Sheldon Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs. www.sheldongoodrich.com.
