Kimberly Denise Fleener, 60, Golden City, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at Cox Health in Lamar. Kim was born March 25, 1961, in Kansas City to Donald J. and June L. (Givens) Butler. She was united in marriage to Ronnie Fleener on Feb. 12, 2010, in Miami, OK, and he survives of the home.

Kim grew up in Centerview, and El Dorado Springs. She graduated from Virden High School in Virden, IL, with the Class of 1979. Kim was a homemaker. She worked for a time at the El Dorado Sun Newspaper, and later for Height and Associates Title Company in Harrisonville. Kim loved her family, being with her children and grandchildren, and had a great love for music.

In addition to her husband Ronnie, she is survived by three sons, Kody Simrell (Lauren) – Ozark, Calem Simrell – El Dorado Springs, and Bryan Fleener (Esther) – Nevada; seven grandchildren, Micah, Atlas, Aleister, Emberlynn, Hazel, Briland and Cyrus; mother, June Butler – Warrensburg; father, Donald Butler (JoAnn) – Suwanee, GA; three sisters, Debi Stapleton (Leon) – Grain Valley, Pam Brant (Donnie) – Centerview, and Beth Ketterman (Leonard) – Greenwood; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Butler, and his wife, Deon; grandparents, Ed and Mary Givens.

Services was held Saturday, Feb. 19, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Dennis Engelbrecht officiating. The family received friends prior to the service at the funeral home.
