Leslie F. “Les” Knight

Leslie F. “Les” Knight, 85, El Dorado Springs, was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Les left this world for a better one on March 25, 2021.

Les was born to Robert and Mary Knight on Feb. 26, 1936. After graduating high school he joined the US Navy. While stationed at Pensacola, FL, he met and married Carolyn Ellison, who preceded him in death in 2008.

Les is survived by his second wife, Judy of Harlan, Ne; sister, Roberta Mark (Gene); son, Mitchell (Debbie), son, Greg (Laura); daughter, Jennifer Koca (Mark); and daughter, Julie Knight. His grandchildren: Jason Knight (Rachel); Jonathan Knight; Tegan Rand (Josh); Zachary Knight; Alan Koca (Megan); Bryan Knight (Anna Marie); and Mason Kerns; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the Sheldon Funeral Home in El Dorado Springs on March 31, immediately after visitation. It is his family’s wish that  donations be made to either the American Heart Association or the National MS Society in his name.
