Michael James Robison, 56, formerly of El Dorado Springs, passed away June 2, 2019, after a two-year fight with cancer.  Michael was born July 11, 1962, at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, MT, the son of James Earl and Carol Jaunita (Shellhorn) Robison.

Survivors include: his mother, Carol Robison of El Dorado Springs; one brother, Scott Robison and Michelle and family of El Dorado Springs; two sisters, Shelly Marshall and Dwain of El Dorado Springs and Kay Simon and Terry, of Joplin; uncle, Wally Chesbro of Laramie, WY; uncle, Albert Shellhorn and Carolyn of Independence, MO; aunt, Linda and Earl Slavens of Halltown, MO; uncle, Jimmy Buckner of Spring, TX; many loved nephews and nieces: Tiffany and Kyle Willis and family of Joplin, Kelsie and Sergio Gomez and family of Joplin, Kelly and Nick Yeager and family of Webb City, Cody and Kristi Lackey and family of El Dorado Springs, Kyle and Kim Schieffer and daughter of Nevada, Colt Schieffer of El Dorado Springs, Jake Schieffer of El Dorado Springs, Scott and Heather Marshall and family of Joplin, Joe and Sandra Marshall and family of Joplin and Talor, Preston and Talon Robison of El Dorado Springs.

Preceding Mike in death were his father, James Robison; aunt, Bonnie (Shellhorn) Chesbro, of Laramie, WY; and grandparents: Preston and Ruby Shellhorn, Carvin and Golden Robison, and Margie and Glen Mogan, all of El Dorado Springs.

Mike loved to travel throughout life, visiting other countries and loved traveling all over the United States as well. Mike loved history, westerns, football, baseball, bowling, fishing, and camping. He loved farm animals and sea life. He always had a fish aquarium.

Mike went to school in El Dorado Springs.  He worked in several manufacturing companies throughout life, as well as over the road. He also enjoyed woodworking.

We will all miss Mike in our own way.

A memorial service will be egin at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, in Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home with Jim Davis officiating. Final disposition was inurnment under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home with burial at a later date in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are: Cody Lackey, Kyle Schieffer, Colt Schieffer, Jake Schieffer, Joe Marshall, Scott Marshall, Preston Robison, Talon Robison, Kyle Willis, Sergio Gomez and Nick Yeager.
