Phyllis “Jeanie” O’Brien, 69, died on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, born June 1, 1955 of Schell City, MO and resident of Brookdale Rosehill Facility in Shawnee, KS.

Jeanie is predeceased by her mother, Ruth Ijams (Harms); father, Phillip O’Brien; sister, Mary Henderson (O’Brien) and daughter, Jennifer Lewis. 

Survived by her son, Donnie Lewis, John (Mende) Lewis and Brandon Huckaby; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her loving siblings , Joe O’Brien,  Peggy O’Brien, and David (Donna) O’Brien, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her in her roles as a daughter, sister, mother and friend to all.

Services will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with a short service afterwards. 

In lieu of flowers feel free to donate to the American Cancer Society in honor of Jeanie.
