Randy Blystone, 74, passed away on April 2, 2024 at his home in Nevada following a lengthy illness. He was born on Dec. 19, 1949 to Wilma and Wallace Blystone in Garden City, KS.

After graduation from El Dorado Springs High School, he married Sharon Thornton, had two children and pursued a military career. Randy was a proud Army veteran. Following the military, he became an electrician. He was a hard worker and took pride in his job.  He later met and married Janice Simpson. They enjoyed many years of adventures together.

Outside of work, Randy had many hobbies that brought him joy. He was a talented wood carver, creating beautiful keepsakes. He also loved the outdoors and gardening and could often be found tending to his plants. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting and was always on the lookout for new treasures. Randy was also very skilled in leather working and stained glass. He had a mischievous side and was always up to something.  He had an ability to creatively fix anything and a persistent optimism that things would turn out all right.

Randy is survived by his wife Janice; sisters Lila (Perry) Carriker and Melba (Fernando) Blystone, sister-in-law Donna Bushlow, daughter Regina Allison, son Aaron (Tamara) Blystone, stepdaughter Gretchen Denney, stepson Holden Simpson, grandchildren Zachery (Bri) Allison, Chandler (Staci) Allison, Brant (Laney) Allison, Mackenna (Rachael) Blystone, Linleigh Denney, Max Denney and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather James Pippin, son-in-law Travis Denney, brother-in-law Rich Bushlow and step-brother Russell Pippin.

No services are planned at this time.  He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
