Rebecca Ann Oehring, 73, of El Dorado Springs, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO. Becky was born Jan. 23, 1945, in St. Clair County, to Gilbert E. and Beauly May (Kincade) Blackmore.

Becky graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in May of 1962. She married Charles Oehring on Sunday, July 29, 1962, with Bro. Hobert Mustain officiating.

Becky loved her dogs. She also loved lakes and mountains, especially those out west. She also loved antiques, which she hoped to get on special occasions. Most importantly, she loved her children and grandchildren very much. She was a special wife and a caring mother and grandmother.

Becky worked for the Nevada Hospital for thirty-four years as coordinator in Central Sterile. She was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church, where she attended faithfully until her illness kept her from it.

Preceding Becky in death were her parents; one sister, Gracie Cartwright; and one grandson, Coby.

Survivors include her husband, Charles, of the home; sons, Danny Oehring of El Dorado Springs, and Steve Oehring and wife, Jolene, of Springfield;  four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Thelma Smith and Evelyn Ford and husband, Guy.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, May 8, in Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home with  Bro. Dewayne Burdette and Bro. Everett Smith officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steven Oehring, Danny Oehring, Dusty Schaaf, Orvall Schaaf, Sam Barger and Lynn Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association and left at the funeral home.
