Robert “Bob” Lloyd Greenstreet, 73, passed away peacefully at home with two of his daughters by his side on Oct. 4, 2024. Bob was born to Clarence and Catherine “Routh” Greenstreet. He attended the first country kindergarten at Listen School and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1969. He worked for Carl Allison until he received his draft notice. He then joined the United States Marine Corps where he served for eight years, reaching the rank of Staff Sgt. On Nov. 26, 1971, he married Patsy Stroer.
After leaving the USMC, he worked as a welder and drove a cement truck in Oklahoma. He moved to Kansas in 1988, where he worked in heat and frost insulation. Then in 1997, he returned home to Missouri where he built a home and went to work for Julian Ready Mix until he retired. He was a self-proclaimed jack of all trades (and a master of none) who took a lot of pride in the restoration of antique farm tractors. He enjoyed piddling in his shop with anyone who would humor him with their presence.
Bob is survived by his wife, Patsy of the home; daughter, Shannan (Scott) Sader of El Dorado KS; daughter, Doris “Doddy” (Stephen) Trotter of El Dorado Springs, MO; honorary daughter, Jeanne Marie (Scott) Freeman of Clearwater, KS; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny David Greenstreet of Jacksonville AR; sister, Dorothy Fletcher of Enid, OK; sisters-in-law, Carol Greenstreet of Stockton MO and Trenda Franklin; brothers-in-law, Loui Stroer and Tracey Stroer; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Les Greenstreet; an infant daughter, Marie Greenstreet; daughter, Ruthie Logston; and son-in-law, Joe Logston.
