Robert Joseph Moody

Robert Joseph Moody, 76, Monett entered into eternal rest on Wednesday Sept. 23, 2020 while at his home in Monett. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on Feb. 7, 1944, the son of the late Eugene and Aileen (Collins) Moody. He was united in marriage on Nov. 10, 1966 to Linda Bates; she survives.

He was the retired owner of Linda Lee’s Chicken Fixins in El Dorado Springs and was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War Era.

Robert is survived by his wife Linda; one son: Adam Moody and his wife, Seayonna, of Springfield,; one daughter, Sherri Thomas, her husband ,Mike, of Traverse City, MI; one brother, Eugene Moody of Holly, MI; two sisters, Marilyn Carmean, of Waterford, MI, and Deloris Nance, of Sioux Saint Marie, MI; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A private family memorial service will be held on Saturday October 10, 2020 in Monett.
