Roberta Lynn “Bert” Julian

Roberta Lynn (Bert) Julian, 64, El Dorado Springs, passed away Feb. 22, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Bert was born Jan. 27, 1958, to Roland and Rosemary (Burris) Lusk.
Bert was united in marriage to John M. Julian on Jan. 31, 1976. They had just celebrated 46 years of marriage. To this union two sons were born, Christopher John and Mitchell Lee.
Over the years Bert and John hosted many fish frys, BBQs and special family dinners. Everyone was always welcome. Bert was a loving wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister and aunt. She loved having her grandkids Kaden, Max and Camden over. Bert always made sure she had each one’s favorite foods available to fix for them, and any other kid that wanted something to eat. Her door was always open. Bert was happiest being at home, working with her flowers, taking care of the dogs, Ace and Hosmer, and playing Cookie Jam on her tablet. Bert was baptized as a young girl and attended the Presbyterian Church with her family.
Bert is survived by her husband, John M. Julian; sons, Chris Julian, and wife, Meghan, Mitch Julian and friend Carrie; three grandchildren, Kaden, Max and Camden; parents, Roland and Rosemary Lusk; brother, Ronnie Lusk, and wife, Barbara; sister, Becky McConnaughey, and husband, Dale (Bud) McConnaughey; sisters-in-law, Pattie Alexander and Carolyn Storbeck; brothers-in-law Tommy Julian and Dennis Storbeck; many special nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her brother, Randy Lusk.
Services for Bert Julian were held Monday, Feb. 28, and burial followed in White Hall Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
