Rosemary Freeman, 33, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at her home in Overton, Nevada after a long battle with cancer.  She was surrounded by loved ones.  She was born Jan. 6, 1986, in Washington, UT, to Daniel Lynn and Trudy Kirkland Stockdale.  On Nov. 27, 2004, she married Aaron Lloyd Freeman in the St. George LDS Temple.

Rosemary grew up in Washington, UT, until at the age of 5 when her family moved to El Dorado Springs.  At age 15 she relocated to Moapa Valley, where she graduated from high school. She remained in Moapa Valley where she has raised her family.  Rosemary has been a devoted wife and mother. She worked for a short time at the end of high school/beginning of marriage as a therapist for autistic children. She loved to play all kinds of games especially Pictionary and card games. She was the queen of card games! She enjoyed taking pictures and videoing, scrapbooking, line dancing, singing, caroling to the elderly, writing poems, camping, traveling to see her family and playing volleyball!

Survivors include her husband, Aaron; one son and two daughters – Kael, Kaylie and Adriana all of Overton, NV; her father, Daniel (Dianna) Stockdale of El Dorado Springs; six brothers and two sisters – Monti Stockdale of El Dorado Springs; Paul of Adrian; Joy (Steve) Barlow of Logandale, NV; Timothy of Overton, NV; Louis of El Dorado Springs; Kassandrya (Travis) Peterson of Washington, UT; Alex (Jennifer) Westwood and Bryton Westwood both of Logandale; and seven stepsiblings.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Trudy Westwood, stepfather, Dennis Westwood, stepbrother, Gary Brown and two infant siblings, Daniel and Christine.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Overton Chapel, 226 W. Thomas Street, Overton, Nevada.  Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in the Moapa Valley Mortuary and again from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel.  Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.
