Shirley Mae Billings Parker, 76, of El Dorado Springs, was called home to be with Jesus on March 29, 2018.

She was born on July 13, 1941, in Kansas City to Leo and Hazel Gage. 

She had various jobs in Kansas City including working at the Mulbach Hotel where she met many people and shared a lot of stories.  Later in life she became a homemaker and was known for always baking great cookies.

Shirley was preceded in death by the late Bill Knight.  She is survived by Millie McGinness of Nebraska, Marie Knight of Arkansas, Dorothy Bosch and husband, Wallie, John Billings, Mike Billings, Paulette Fishburn and Karen Smith as well as many grandchildren, a great-grandchild, uncles, nephews and friends.  She will be greatly missed by all.

Services were held Saturday, April 7, in Sheldon Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs, with Pastor Bonnie Berry officiating.

Music was “God On The Mountain,” “Amazing Grace”  and“Hallelujah.

Disposition was cremation under direction of Sheldon Funeral Home.
