Toby Joe Sallee, age 52, of Stockton, Missouri, passed away on January 14, 2025. Toby was born December 3, 1972, to Tony Lee Sallee and Betty Lou Sallee in El Dorado Springs, Missouri.  Growing up he enjoyed spending time with his grandfather, Alden Sallee, who shared with him the joys of outdoor life.  It was then that Toby began developing his skills as an outdoorsman which he carried on throughout his life. Toby was an avid fisherman and a dedicated hunter with plenty of fish stories to tell. Some of his stories come from his time as a football player for El Dorado High. Toby shared his love for the outdoors with everyone who knew him and once said he couldn’t get any closer to God then when he was hunting with someone he loved.

Toby was known for his quality work and spent the last part of his career as a welder/foreman.  He enjoyed being out on the road and was accompanied everywhere by his wife Sharon.  Toby’s love for Sharon was only matched by her love for him. Together they reached retirement on the family farm that Toby was extremely proud to care for.  Toby’s discipline and work ethic were two of his most prominent qualities and will live in our hearts forever.

A memorial service for Toby was held on January 21, 2025, at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. Brent Bland was the minister. Online condolences may be left at www.blandhackleman.com
