Tom Daggett, 76, was born in Piedmont, MO, on Oct. 12, 1948, to Floyd and Mildred (Deshaney) Daggett he passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, in Kansas City MO. His family moved to Nevada in 1948 and he graduated from school at Bronaugh, MO. He met the love of his life Ruth Kaderly and they were married on June 29, 1968, and celebrated 56 1/2 years together.
Tom spent four years in the Navy from 1968 to 1972 as a Seabee. After he got out of the service he worked at Western Auto. He later worked at Rich Hill as a road maintenance supervisor and then he worked for Buck Heugh, the Sheriff of Bates county, farming. They started on a dairy farm and did that for several years as well as some auctioneering. He retired from truck driving after 40 years. After he retired he spent his time hauling Amish for about 10 years. He is survived by his wife, Ruthy, of the home and several other family and friends.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 6 at the Sheldon Funeral Chapel in El Dorado Springs.
