Tommy Edward Bennett, 83, El Dorado Springs, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 26, 2026. He was born Oct.11, 1942, to Ernest and Pearl Bennett.
Tommy was the eldest of four children and is preceded in death by his sister, Kay Daniel. He is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Pat (Bill) Ward and Cheryl (Dave) Norman.
On May 31, 1961, Tommy married the love of his life, Pauline Faye Ward. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love, raising two children, Rick (Patty) Bennett and Mitzi (Mike) Norman.
Tommy had a gift for working with his hands and found great joy in his woodworking shop, where he crafted many beautiful pieces that filled his home. He treasured simple moments, especially walking around town with Pauline and spending time entertaining his grandchildren, who brought him endless joy.
Though Tommy accepted Christ in his earlier years, his faith remained an important part of his life, and he later rededicated himself to the Lord and was baptized on Sept. 1, 1996.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pauline Bennett; his children; his sisters; and his cherished grandchildren: Mandy (late Aaron) Jones; Matt (Samie) Bennett; Kyle (Montana) Bennett; Lyndsey (Carson) Hayward; Chelsey (Chad) Nissley; and Kelly (Aubrey) Nissley. He was also blessed with many great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Pearl Bennett, and his sister, Kay Daniel.
A graveside service was held on March 30, 2026, at Clintonville Cemetery in El Dorado Springs under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
