Wendi (Durham) Eslinger, 55, El Dorado Springs, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, in her home.

She was born Aug. 30, 1967, in Dodge City, KS, to Vernona (Hardin) and Billie Ray Durham. On May 22, 2018, she was united in marriage to Marvin Eslinger, Jr. Wendi graduated from El Dorado Springs High School, where she excelled in athletics, still holding the record for women’s shot put. She worked for Physicians Medical as a Billing Specialist, where she enjoyed helping patients with their needs. Wendi enjoyed gardening, watching birds and collecting her frog trinkets. With her generous heart, Wendi was always there to offer advice and guidance to those in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernona and Billie Ray Durham; and grandparents, Raynard and Nona Hardin.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Eslinger, Jr., – El Dorado Springs; half-brother, David Williams – Oklahoma; sons, Raelen Malcom – El Dorado Springs, and Myles Rutledge and wife, Kinley, – McPherson, KS; step-sons, Adrian Eslinger and wife, Laura, – Polk City, IA, and Andrew Eslinger – El Dorado Springs; step-daughter, Vanessa Eslinger – El Dorado Springs, and partner, Brandon Stoll; and grandchildren, Myra and Ava Malcom, Evelyn and Ella Eslinger, Brayden Eslinger, and Cody and Trey Eslinger.

Graveside services for Wendi Eslinger were held on Friday, June 16, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery near El Dorado Springs, with Rev. Brent Bland officiating.
