Wilma Jean “Jeanie” Ogle

Wilma Jean “Jeanie” Ogle, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025. She was born July 22, 1941, in Independence, MO, to Allen Ray McCullick and Ruth (Noyes) McCullick.

Jeanie was known for her kind heart, warm smile, pie making, and steadfast love for her family. She and her husband, Jim Ogle, shared 66 wonderful years together, and three children – Michael Ray, James Dean, and Sheila Jean.

For many years, she was a proud and active member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in El Dorado Springs, Jeanie lived her faith daily through acts of kindness and service. She was also honored for more than 50 years of service with the Order of the Eastern Star, where she formed lifelong friendships and made a lasting impact on her community.

Jeanie is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jim Ogle, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory and her gentle, giving spirit.

A funeral service was held on Oct. 26,  at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. She was laid to rest in Green Lawn Cemetery in Schell City.
