American Bass Anglers Division 126 will hold a tournament Saturday, Feb. 16. on Stockton Lake launching out of Old State Park. Director Mike Dill will be at the ramp at 6:30 a.m. to take registration. A mandatory briefing will begin at 7:30 followed by partner draw and boat positions. Tournament hours will be 8-3.

This is one of a series of Bass Pro Shop Fishing Tour tournaments.  It is a national tournament trail for the weekend angler. It is a singles trail, no need to find a partner to count on. It is a DRAW trail, meaning it is open to boaters and non-boaters alike. Boaters – if you bring a boat, you are fishing from your boat. Many times throughout the year you will fish by yourself. Don’t have a boat, or never fished in a bass tournament? This ABA series is perfect for you!

Before take off at each event we hold a quick tournament meeting and afterwards we draw names first for boaters take off position. Next we have the co-anglers draw a boat to fish from. High School students – this a great way to expand your tournaments!

Full schedule for D126 and other ABA divisions in the area can be seen at If you have questions, call Mike at 417 872-9557 or Becky at 316 644-1454.
