Fishing’s good. The river’s coming up a little and has lots of small trash. The launching ramp is open. I don’t think you you could get a line across. I think rod and reel would work well. They are using limb lines catching mostly blue cats and a few flatheads.
I’ve got shad, gold fish, perch, worms and bullheads.
We will be closed on Sunday and Monday until next March.

They are catching crappie\and catfish off the bridge up against the dam. Minnows are the best bait.
Several people are fishing.

They are catching crappie on the brush piles. They are catching white bass and walleye by Crab Tree Cove and on the Big Island. My dad, me and the kiddos trolled Rattle Traps for white bass by Rutledge Bluff and Crab Tree Cove.
The lake is about four feet high.

One guy told me he was trolling for walleye at 26 ft. He had six short ones and four big ones. He was one happy dude.
