I’ve got live bait: perch, bull heads, gold fish, worms.

The river is low. Blue cats and a few flatheads bite on trot lines set shallow if you know what you are doing. Fish and bait may die on the line if you set too deep.

Blue cats bite on anything. Better bait, better fish.

We will be closed on Sunday and Monday until next March.

We are currently in off season which means no more float trips for the season.

We will close for the season Sept. 22 until March, but the camp ground will remain open until November depending on weather.

The lake is 5 feet below normal pool.

Monday we started trolling for walleye with a Rattle Trap on the flats in 9 to 11 ft. of water. I’d drop it to the bottom then pick it up.

I caught lots of short ones and one keeper.

Wednesday some guys came in with a boat load of crappie.
