Dains Fish Farm

417-432-3391

Fishing is good. The flatheads are biting, and blue cats.

If someone wants to fish, they can catch the heck out of fish. The river is up about 2 ft. from the rain. The river is in good shape.

They are catching the flatheads on live bait. Catching the blue cats on just about anything.

They will be closed on Sundays and Mondays until next March. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

He just saw someone come in and they had 15 fish. Several of them are flatheads and several of them were blue cats over the slot limit. He said it was a nice mess of fish.

If you want to catch some fish, get out there. The bait he has is gold fish, bullheads and perch.

If you want something special, call him and he can get it for you. He doesn’t keep a lot of bait ahead this time of year because there aren’t a lot of people fishing. A lot of people hunting but, no so many fishing. Those that are, are catching fish. Fishing is just getting better all the time.
