Dains Fish Farm

We still have people trotlining and having considerable luck. Evidently it’s still good.

We’ve had two different bunches.

The first one was using large brown carp and goldfish. They caught two or three 30 lb. flatheads then a 30 to 40 lb. white cat.

Then another couple trotlining were using strictly goldfish. They caught four flatheads. The smallest was 20 and the biggest was 40.

That’s all I’ve heard. I just sold some small baits to a guy who was going to rod and reel fish over at Monegaw but I haven’t heard back from him yet.

I haven’t heard of anybody crappie fishing.

I don’t know if anybody is rod and reel fishing, but trotlining has been very successful in the Osage.
