Fishing is good. Spoonbilling is over. Season Closed. The bluecats are really biting. I think you could catch them from the bank.
I’ve got perch now. The blues really like them. I’ve seen a few flatheads.
Crappie are biting.
The water is going down. You can launch a boat now.

Crappie are hitting pretty good. Everybody that goes down there catches four or five. They catch an occasional white bass.
The Corps is running the water some and that has brought the fish up.
Another fishing reporter told me a section of the dam has fallen off on the east end which lets water run all the time. The crappie like that.
Our hours are 9-6 and Sundays 9-5.

The crappie are on the brushpiles hitting minnows and jigs. The walleye are 14 – 24 ft, deep on points hitting on swim baits they said which I take to be jig and night crawler.
The lake is 10 ft. above normal pool.
One woman said she was catching smallmouth in coves – catch and release.
Our hours are 7 – 4. We’ll change as we get closer to Memorial Day.
