Crappie and catfish are hitting. They catch an occasional white bass. Best bait is minnows.

The Corps is running the water some and that has brought the fish up.

Another fishing reporter told the Sun the top fell off the east end of the dam letting the water run all the time. The crappie like that.

Our hours are 9-6 and Sundays 9-5.

The crappie have moved to the brush piles. Start looking in 20 ft. of water. When you find a good one, it will be a good one. I found one in 25 ft.of water.

The crappie are on the flats hitting crankbaits. I use an old Wiggle Wart.

I’m catching walleye on main lake points fishing a nightcrawler bottom bouncer rig.

I cancelled on clients because of the wind. I shouldn’t have been out there either,

The lake is four feet above normal pool and 70.55 degrees.

Our hours are 8-5.

The lake is 3 ft. above normal pool at 65 degrees.

I caught my limit of walleye in 90 minutes on two days trolling a red and black Rattletrap with a gold belly 14 to 21 ft. deep in coves. I caught a couple of big crappie. One black and one white.

I sold out of crappie minnows yesterday to people going up the Little Sac where the crappie are going crazy.

It’s sail boat weather on the lake today.

Our hours are 8- 5. We’ll change to 7 to 7 as we get closer to Memorial Day.
