The fish are still biting but few people are fishing. Bank poles are working on blue cats and flatheads. It rained out in Kansas and cleaned out the river. Deer season opens in a month.
We are open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Closed Sundays and Mondays until next snagging season.

I fished for 10 hours and caught three little perch and one little bass that was smaller than the perch. I threw everything in my tacklebox.
If you are going to go, take your swimming suit and enjoy the water. The lake is at full pool and in the high 80s.
Our hours are 7- 7.
