The bridge is open 24/7 365.

Another fishing reporter whose residence is in Caplinger said the Corps has not run water in weeks. As a result, he said, Caplinger Woods store was closed for the season – no kayaking, no float trips. But if you want to camp, you still need to make a reservation.

The reporter said he tried to take a float trip and walked carrying his kayak more than he floated.

The white bass are blowing up every where hitting anything that looks like a fish.

I caught walleye trolling a Flicker Shade in 8 ft. of water.

No crappie.

Our hours are 9 – 5 during the week and 8 – 5 on Saturday and on Sunday.
