The river is at the top of the boat ramp but you can still use it. Some people say the river is falling. Others say it is coming up. 1 don’t know. They are still catching blue cats and flatheads.
We are open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday now that snagging season is over.

They are catching catfish, crappie and a few walleye off the bridge. The shad are running. Not many people have been fishing because of the rain.
The Corps is running water every night.
We serve biscuits and gravy on Saturday and Sunday from when we open at 9 a.m. until we run out. The biscuits are big. We ran out again and I made more.
We are open Monday thru Saturday 9-6 and Sunday 9-5.

Crappie are starting to bed up right on the bank in the brush with the lake high. I’m seeing lots of big crappie brought in.
Big largemouth bass are hitting. Walleye are hitting crank baits trolled at 1.5 mph. I prefer to use a Rattletrap. Walleye are also started to hit bottom bouncers tipped with a live worm.
We are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.
The lake is 2 1//2 feet high. Water temp is 68 degrees.
